Hi, my name is Andy, and I play drums in this little punk-rock outfit called JUDGE NOTHING. Recently (depending on when you actually read this), the moguls at THICK requested I write a bio for our little touring circus side show, so here goes... It was back in 1972 when I first met Doug. Same kindergarten class, and he was a geek like me. We sat together for milk and cookies the rest of the year, you might say partners in crime. The kiddie stuff is a little boring so let me jump ahead...

In 1981, Doug and I started a band together, Club Zero, and hell yes, we became infatuated with the "rock-n-roll fantasy". Now in 81' you were either a hippie or a punk, and we sure as hell weren't no hippies. In fact we were neither; we rocked to the likes of The Clash and Stiff Little Fingers, but added a little Skynyrd and Foghat just for fun. At the time we had a different bass player, he was a Mod or something, wore black suits and loved SKA. We were playing with all of the greatest punk rock bands. We actually became really good friends with the Descendents, and that meant we became really good friends with coffee too. We were hooked on both, toured together quite a bit since then. The weird thing is a couple of years later our bass player decided to go to college and guess who followed suit...you got it, Milo from the Descendents.

So off they went. That's when we recruited Flea. No shit, the guys name was actually Flea (none of that made up shit like the Chili Peppers). His mother says it's because he looked like a little flea when he was born (yeah he was bloody and covered with placenta too lady). This guy was nuts, liked to rock a lot, like literally, back and forth. He didn't know how to play bass or anything but that was punk rock enough for us, so he was in! The joke was on us though, cause he turned out to be one of the best bass players I've ever heard... and he still won't sit still.

Well anyway, with a new bass player came a new band name and JUDGE NOTHING was it's name-o. That's when we got our first real touring van...a 77' Dodge Sportsman with a stench so burly...well, we discussed that in our last bio; let's just say it was really bad. In 1991, as the van's mileage exceeded 200,000, Bill and Stephen from ALL (x-Decendents), produced a demo and 7" for us. We were touring our asses off, which proved to be quite an adventure: toilet catfish, beer and coffee sludge, midget hookers and inflatable women named "Barb." Fortunately, no arrests were made (though some close calls) and the tour machine was finally honed. In 1994 we laid that beast to rest; a day of mourning was had by all concerned tour participants. (Actually we sold it to some poor sucker even with its nearly unbearable tour scent).

Shortly after, we inked a deal with Chicago's Thick Records and released our first full length CD "I'm A Big Girl Now" named after a Doris Day song. Now don't kid yourself, we're no Green Day...we have to keep our day jobs. When I'm not beating my skins, I'm a humble chimney sweep. Doug Nothing, believe it or not, is a substitute teacher (poor kids). Flea, well we can't really figure out what Flea does in his spare time, but he swears he works at a record store. Some rock critic with way too much time on their hands called us "the Badfinger of punk." Well we kinda liked that so this one's for you pal.

In December of last year, we headed west to Ft. Collins, Colorado to Bill and Stephen's new studio the Blasting Room, where we spent the month perfecting our latest creation "Riveter." Presently, you have the ripened fruit of our recording labors in your hands (you may want to wash up- trust us). We hope you enjoy this savory little musical morsel, fueled by morning whiskey, Blackjack pizza and Duck Hunt. If you happen to have any questions about this mess, call someone else.

Thanks.
